J.G. (Koos) Blaazer is member of the board of FISD, a social investment venture. His focus is the development of industrial enterprises and especial shipping, dredging, floor covering (linoleum), energy and waste. For many years, Koos was managing director of a utility, founded a district heating company and built a large scale district heating system. During these years he was member of the board of a co-generation company. Thereafter he headed a waste management company. Koos initiated and managed several mergers.

He started his career as an engineer and plant manager of the world largest linoleum floor covering producer.

Koos holds an MSc from the Delft University of Technology and a MBA from the predecessor of the Rotterdam School of Management (the IIB).

Koos has extensive experience in small LNG.
